Certass (Certification & Self Assessment) is a Competent Persons Scheme, licensed by the Department for Communities and Local Government. Certass Glazing is a scheme in respect of the installation of replacement windows, doors and associated glazing products in domestic properties. Approval by Certass Glazing will allow member contractors to Self-Certify work, therefore Certass Glazing will be in a position to issue Building Regulation Completion Certificates to homeowners.

Installations Assured Ltd only market and provide one product, “Insurance Backed Guarantees”. These are guarantees purchased by contractors for and on behalf of their customers.

The guarantee is designed to provide claims cover for the customer in the event of the contractor ceasing to trade due to insolvency, liquidation or the winding up of the business on the retirement or death of the principals.

The guarantee will also provide facilities to arbitrate and deal with complaints on behalf of the customer.
